Hello Everyone,
I've had my MPC 1000 for a while now, and up until recently I haven't had any problems with it. For some reason it won't save my files properly and I've lost a lot of projects that I've been working on. It has nothing to do with my memory card, surprisingly enough. Anyways, I've also been using Logic 8 on the side, and found a lot of tools within it that I think would be great for mixing. Since I've been having problems saving onto my MPC, I figured why not import my tracks into Logic, that way I can mix right there and won't have any problems saving. In other words, I'm trying to figure out the best way to import the tracks from my MPC into Logic, or how to track he individual audio files from my MPC to Logic. I primarily sample on the MPC, and didn't think using MIDI would be that useful since I'm using audio, although I could be wrong. I'd like to know any suggestions for utilizing both hardware and software.
Also, I have an M-Audio FireWire Solo interface. Thanks for any help.
