A little help please!

Im real new to the 3000 so some lemme know if im doin something wrong. Anyways, wen i fire up my machine and load up a kik for example from one of my disks assign it to bank a pad 1 go back to the main screen hit the pads that i put sounds on and cant hear anything?? But if i go and record a sequence hittin the pads then hit play i hear the recorded sounds/ notes..from that pad??? Wuts goin on here? Are my pads bunk? Sensors out? Some input would be much appreciated.thnx

It doesn't sound like bad sensors otherwise you would not get any recorded notes from the pads. It sounds more like you maybe have some setting that needs to be switched... Like you have midi track selected and then it plays back ok. Just a guess tho! Also there is a local control mode setting make sure that is on.

Yeah I guess its the local mode issue. Hit "MIDI" then "2" and switch "Local mode" from "OFF" to "ON"
