The reason I even come on this forum is not to GET HELP from people, its because I have owned or DO OWN literally every notable sampler EVER MADE.
This is what I do.
All the faggots who drag and drop someone else's samples, use VST's all day, make computer beats, and generally DO NOT RESPECT THE CULTURE, keep on keeping on mo-fukker... you will be done with this ish in about 2 years.
I have been making beats (from absolute scratch every damn time) for 8 years... and have not put out one album yet. why? because I could care less about being "internet famous", "getting discovered" (yeah right), or "making a name".
This shit isn't about that.
Its about being YOU. and thats about it.
you wonder why I don't post up finished beats EVER. I'll post up a widdack 4 bar loop that is 3 minutes long so people can hear a sound technique... not a SONG.
My songs stay put, when they are finished, my homies can have a listen. If there's a dope rapper thats a friend that wants to get one... I GIVE IT AWAY... not because I'm trying to get on, because THEY ARE JUST AS DOPE AS ME at what they do.
Haters are only on that hate ish because they lack innovation, creativity, originality, and work ethic. Jumping on a bandwagon and saying you are a "producer" is far from the truth. 'cause you have a laptop and reason you are a producer? nah, homie, you are playing a video game.
Pack up your gear (IE one laptop and one drum machine that you probably suck at programming anyway) and drop that shit off at the goodwill... let someone with dedication to their art use that.
You don't have heart. You don't have vision. and you most certainly will never have a SIGNATURE SOUND like the greats do.
