Hey everybody I am interested in buying a mixer Ive heard Mackies are really good mixers. the thing is I cant decide which model is best for me. I know I need a 16 channel. Here are a couple I found on Kijiji hopefully u guys can help me decide which model is best. or if you know any other mixer which in your opinion are better list them.

1. "CR 1604"
2. "CR 1604 VLS"
3. "1642 VLS Pro"
4. "ONYX 1620"
5. "ONYX 1640"

I realize the ONYXs are more expensive. I just put them in there cause perhaps they are a world of difference compared the the others I am unsure so any feedback with help thank u all for your time.

Do you have any requirements/preferences, or are you waiting to hear what some of us like/dislike about 'em?

TBH, any of them would fit your needs. I've grown up around the classic 1604 and have seen it evolve to what it's like today, so I'm more than likely to go with that as my personal preference.

But then somebody else may say the others that sport the onyx pre's would be a better choice.

Find out what your requirements are then go for what you thinks is best.

well let's see some prices of those... that might balance the pros and cons.

VLZ PRO is a safe bet... they're built like a tank.
