Which do you use?

Zip drive or CF Card Reader. I'm getting an ASR10 and have been going back and forth between the two. I think I'm going to go with the card reader though because they can hold way more than those 100 and 250mb iomega zip drives. Whats your opinion?

theres no pros of zip over cf (except cost) so I say cf

Yeah I got my ASR10 but I also wanted a 2000xl to sequence everything with, but I'm only gonna have like $325 so I guess the xl's gotta wait.

CF without a question. Zip drives are fragile, finicky pos's. One minute they're fine and the next you better hope you made backups cause the drive munched your disk and **** itself(click of death, look it up). Yeah, so not so cheap when you factor in how many disks/drive might die on you in a short amount of time. :wink:

yep **** you click of death... when you think... wow 100 or 250 megs is way better then 1.5 megs on a floppy.... but when a floppy **** up you only loose one song rather then piles of songs and a sample library.
