What are the differences with the XL anyways?
I only watched like 30 seconds of that vid, because that guy kept making Kung Fu sounds with his Shutter Shades.

MicroKorgs are annoying.... Overused ... and the XL looks like a repackaged version of exactly the same thing... How about a Maxi Korg? You know ... one with some balls???

well since someone asked back when this thread was new ... the XL is based on a different sound engine.

The original micrkorg is based on the MS2000 and only has four voices, while the XL is a cut-down R3 (which is based on the Radias) and has eight voices. I think you can also control timbres with separate midi channels, which the original wouldn't do

so it's not just the same thing in a new case

Also I hate all the sounds except for the sub bass and one or two from the SFX section.
