When i cut a sample up and go to edit ->New sample i rename it but it says name already used.For instance i got this incredible hulk sample as sound002.The new zone is sound002z,which it'll accept.Then i try to chop it again and use a totally different name for instance Bruce001 but it'll say name already used.I'm totally confused.Help me out fam i'm dyin' here.Thanx...

after you name somethin make sure you press enter to finalize it.

files should only be 8 characters.

actully i noticed u can make file names longer in da mpc and they save find and read and come back da way there sopused to it seems the 8 character is for when u transfer files from the cpu to the mpc then probs start dont know why but thats da way it is
