I Hope this post doesn't get me in trouble,but I thought I just go ahead and list my list of Best producers, or Top 10 All time in my book.

Most People across the Country like Dre, But Prefer Premo,because
it all about turntables and the one Beat machine( 2 if you count the s-950)
not a 1 million dollars worth of equipment, Plus Premo has tooken Sampling and Minimalism ( the orginal sound of Hip Hop) to the next level, Plus Dre's sound is a liitle over the top for me sometimes.Oh,yeah almost forgot the Drums.....well they speak for themselves.

My list reads like this also...not sure about the order though.

I put DJ Quik in a category by himself(probably Mannie too)...His album "Rhythmalism" was bananas and he plays all his own instruments. This album single handedly made me want to persue the production side of music....

Actually,ALCHEMIST is my favorite Producer RIGHT NOW,but can't put him on there yet. Were would he fit??? Better than Fresh??? Well, maybe
cuz I like beat diggers over Synth Players, Al as producer som fire as well
