what do you mean deal with this? sure I will do something... I often use random samples and VST pluggins and what not to make tracks... a lot of my VST instruments are using samples for the instruments also so I hope that is cool with you. What genre are you into? I think a general urban thing would be cool... I dont think my pure hiphop beats are even close to being battle worthy at all haha.

I wanted to contribute something to the mixtape but I dont have an mpc at the moment so the only way I may be able to get to submit something is if I sampled some old recordings i took from when i did have an mpc and blend it into a song.... which I think is pretty much cheating.


I dont know when the deadline should be... I will let you know when I am done I guess.

I think it pretty much qualifies you to enter if you can find those old samples to rework. There's no stipulation on how you piece it all together.

the rules state that the drums have to be sequenced on the mpc and I believe one other thing as well... I was trying to check ebay for a shit condition mpc on the cheap just for this... i missed a damn good condition good screen 2000 classic with 8 outs and zip drive for 200 dollars. Also now I have the capability to do 8 ins from the mpc cause I got a motu a week or so ago.
