can you upgrade straight from free jj too jj os2xl?

i tried to google/ research it and i couldnt find a definitive answer. it looks like this is possible on the 2500 but what about the mpc 1k?

can i skip os1 and os2 and just buy os2xl and upgrade too it from the free jj os?

did you try looking on JJ's site, and clicking th link on the front page that says "How to install JJOSXL" ?

yea i did go to that page.

on #2 of the installation directions it says and i quote "(It is installable even from the screen of load of OS1 into which the password is entered.)"

does this mean that i need to have OS1 before i can upgrade to the XL?

So yes, you can install it from the free version.

You can install it even from OS1. But you don't HAVE to.

you still have to pay for os1 if you you are buying os2xl from scratch... hence the different pricing options...

You have to pay the full whack, but you don't need to install OS1, you can go from free to OS2XL without installing OS1 first
