I installed the free version of JJOS, for trying it out before upgrading. It seems to work fine except that the pads trigs the sound multiple times when hit. When playing up the sequence it's not affected but its kind of annoying when you want to play on the pads. Is this a known problem with the free version of JJOS?

Yes, I searched the forum and found that adjusting the pad sensitivity could solve the issue. This did not work in my case.

The multiple triggering occurs when the pad is held down more than just slightly tapping on it. Resulting in "drum rolls"

No, it's just the mpc1k without any midi equipment. I reinstalled the jjos and the problem is still there. Maybe I should try upgrading to jjos1.

are you sure you properly understood how to adjust the pads sensitivity? what did you set them to?

also, are you hitting the pads with 2 fingers?
