Thanks gert! It ain't over until it's over, and I'll give mr. debauch the benefit of the doubt. I do however respect his decision to take me on for the challenge and I respect his skills.

But more than likely knowing him so far, his will would probably tell him to get back in the lab and cook up that masterpiece 'cause he ain't letting this go by the waistside.

well maybe when I have some more time available I can put more work into it... I did the track in a couple of hours. However mine wasn't a beat with the thought of lyrics going over it (ie: a beat)

I do more stuff like that with parts and transitions.

I think that's what was expected of you in the begining about the parts & transitions you know.

The majority around here I think prefer hip hopish/r&b style grooves. Though I'm not saying that's whats written in stone, but it is what it is.

debauch got something dope there, I liked his beat. Dab got that root funk flavor to his.

yeah man, I know what you mean. that is why i tossed that hip hop bit at the end. It's all good though, I had fun making the track just the same. But I have a question... in my track, there is are sine wave style bass bits in it. Do they sound alright? Because I made those 100% visually, and didn't hear them at all because I dont have a system set up at the moment that can go that low and I didn't have my headphones at the time. Basically I saw it on the meters but didn't hear shit! lol...

I wanna call someone out, unfortunately my mixer is booty and needs repair, so no multitrackin for me. But if someone wanna go with a 2kxl to 2kxl battle with mixes in the machine I'm down.

Finally got chance to listen to the tracks...

Dab wins for me just on having a tight, logical arrangement, but Mr D could have got my vote with a trimmed down and less messy effort.

of course you aren't singling out me, you did call only me out though.... granted it was only for fun but still. I hope you aren't implying I am talking any talk I dont walk. Because we are on a music forum and I am into making music... When people post questions, if I have any ideas I try and help out. I even go the distance of getting involved with the community things that are happening around here, for example playing along with your battle, joining in on the bob james remix thing, and not to mention hosting all of the mixtapes on demonoid with a 24 hour upload and no bandwidth cap on my end...

^^^ Hey, I'm working my promotions to try and get more katz around here to get involved with what we just got finished doing...do you mind?

LOL...just kidding. But I'm pretty sure there's a few others out there that are probably skimp'n on the beats, and don't want anybody to judge & criticize them.

So you can settle down and stop thinking like I said that I'm making you the subject of this discussion.
