What did you pay for your MPC3000?

Just curious what you all paid for your MPC3000.

You often see high prices on ebay but do they reflect the real second hand value?

So I'll start off:

I bought my MPC3000 in Europe/Belgium about 3 months ago and paid $900 for it.

A few years back now... (Year 2000 from memory) I bought my LE version "Brand New" with the EXM3008 board, 2 x 4 meg sims, and VGA board at around $2000.00 USD ... ( a little bit less ).

Noticed at the time they were selling second hand and new for MUCH higher prices than that.

Can't imagine I will ever be needing to sell mine so the price I paid was good at the time... I guess.

bought my 3k 2 yrs ago off ebay and paid 1600. it came with vga the board, but i had to replace the power supply($80), floppy drive($30), and maxed out ram($20)

Hi Ikke,

Found my MPC3000 in the studios of Praga Khan. I was there to record a demo and saw the MPC sitting in a corner gathering dust. They hadn't used it for several years.

I got my MPC3000LE brand new off of Ebay for $1,500. I couldn't believe it. The guy said his friend bought it for his son when the MPC was reissued, but the son never used it. When I got it, the only thing I found wrong with it was the floppy drive cable was disconnected. Probably came loose at some point. I have a funny feeling that's why I got it so cheap because they could have gotten $2500 for it. The thing still had the plastic on the LCD.

Hahahaa Praga Khan better kept the MPC, maybe his beats would become better than they are now!

got my 3k for £650 in uk with zip 100. maxed out ram which cost £20. couldn't live without it.

1330$ mint condition with plastic cover still on the display, manufactured 1998 week 45. It´s abargain
