Saving projects?

In page 78, the manual says:
"The project file does not have actual sample or sequence data, but it has the information about the sample/program/ALL files
that are saved when you save the data. [...]
For example, if you select SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY when you save the data after finish working on it for the day,
you can start the MPC1000, the next day, from where you finished the previous day."

Sorry, dont quite get it (maybe because english isnt my motherlanguage):
I make a new sequence and give it a new name. I save entire memory as a project to the cf-card. When loading the project the sequence is not there. So Im not where I was "the day before"?
Do I have to save the sequences as well? How do u do all this saving most practically without getting confused? Sometimes Im stoned when I finish in the night making music. Would have been nice if I just had to make one type of saving?

I know about autoload - but I thought it contained the same as a project, just without the "auto"?

I figured it out, even though its almost a bug???
If u save two different projects in the same folder, the newest project (Project02) does not contain the newest sequences, but uses the sequences from Project01. Try it out, and tell me what u think. I guess its a matter of making different folders for different projects. Would save space though if the projects uses the same samples.

Yeah I don't get it.

The manual doesn't really make sense because saving entire memory DOES save all the samples. I always save my samples as a program rather than individually anyway. I also always save the sequences seperately as a safeguard. I put all the components in one folder. When I load the PROJECT file it seems to load everything. Sequences and all. Weird.

I guess its another thing. What Im saying is:
If u save a project in a folder where another project has been saved earlier, u wont save the sequences from the new project.

All I can think of it to check that you have selected "Overwrite existing files." But then it would be better to save different projects in separate folders.

i save a progra and sample folder and all seq and song file in same folder after i deleted old one from yesterday.and i never had a problem.when you load it asks to replace same samples in memory and i say yes. because i know this works i havent tried save entire memory in a long time but i wish i knew how it worked.
