The Boss Dr 550 MK II

i got this because i thought it could sample and when i found out it couldnt i just kept making drum patterns lol - had some decent sounds on a couple of the banks but i eventually got rid of it and got a mpc 1000

i also have a broken mc 303 laying around somewhere

lot of BOSS drum machines in here, as i'd expected... here's mine:

BOSS DR-660... it was originally my older brother's and he got it way back in 1992 or '93... it was the first MIDI instrument we'd ever had in the household and i clearly remember my brother showing me how he could sync it with Cakewalk [the first version that came out]... i eventually inherited it and despite it being pretty old and dated, i still think most of the BOSS drum machines are well worth the money since they offer great features for editing the built-in sounds... so you can make some bass go WAY DEEP.

The SR-16 was my first drum machine - and together with my mate's Ensoniq EPS back in 1993/94, we thought we'd give Nine Inch Nails and Ministry a run for their money.
Haven't touched a thing since then til 2 weeks ago when I got my MPC 1000-so far it seems very similar work flow, just different gear.
It's nice to be back :D
