60mkI and mkII

i know that the MKII has a plastic body and a headphone out but is there a size difference? is the MKII smaller?


does anyone have dimensions?

No the mk2 is larger and bulkier.

The Mark I is bigger.

46cm X 50cm X 12.5cm at the back

Don't know about the MK 2

okay. i decided to go with the 2kxl just because of size. i need something a little more portable but i'm also gonna pick up an s950, so i can get that 12-bit grunge when i'm in the lab

s950 paired with just about any MPC is a good combo...

Pair your mpc with a ASR-X even better combo. still crunchy drums and the best FX in a box to me, plus more filters and even more portable.

I would have to agree, however the mkii is still tough. I think one advantage would be if the opponent has a tazer or something electrical you might be able to block it... haha
