So this guy is willing to sell me an MPC-1000 everything is stock and in very good condition.

However, the only thing wrong with it is the DOWN button on the right hand side?

He's selling it for 200 dollars. It's a good deal for what it's worth (amazing, actually), but how about that darn DOWN buton?

Is this worth it? What do you guys think?

Thanks so much!
:D :D

EDIT: And one of the Q1 slider knobs is missing. Is this worth it?

Absolutely. Buy it. The buttons on all MPC's go bad. All it needs is a new contact switch. If you know anyone who works with electronics, they will be able to fix it very easily. If you don't, any music shop or electronics store will do it for you on the cheap. Even if you have the older style pads, I'd say it's a good deal. Though you will have to spend almost $200 bucks to get the newer ones. If it already has the new pads, you are robbing that dude...

EDIT: You can get a new slider cap from MPCstuff. Maybe $10
