whats stale all?....i got my 2000 yesterday...the thing was a nasty filthy mess....i took it apart and it cleaned up nice...i dont understand why some just let these things go to ruin...anyways...upon testing it out....when started up it displays MPC Boot Rom Version1.00...then it displays SCSI 7:....then it will go on to display Insert MPC 2000 disk...it will the load the os however...but this seems like a problem in the coming....any clue on how to resolve this...i plan on replacing the floppy drive...its pretty shot alot of read errors....as well the connections on my 1/4 inputs seem to be loose and not making full contact...they need to be lifted in the back to get solid contact...an easy fix...i know...but my question about this is...if i wanna replace the 1/4 inputs with new ones...will any 1/4 jack work?...thanks in advane....The KidSon
