If you're being careful with your money, I'd say get the JJOS first. But you have this already then yes - this book is a good purchase.

Appreciate the advice.. I don't have either.. Real minds think alike.. JJOS was 1st..

Happy to help - yep - get JJOS first - read up on a couple of features that sound good (and use the search function here), and take it from there.

You won't regret it, MPC 2500 (and JJOS) > MPC 5000 (the Paris Hilton of the AKAI mpc range).
