I'm selling my mpc 4k but before i do i want to save all the sounds on my computer as well, i downloaded ak.sys but it appears i can only drag and drop one sound at a time....or am i mistaken? does anyone know of a easier way? i can get all these programs/sounds/samples on my computer harddrive?

thanks

Swapout the hard drive if all else fails, copy the data and then put it back into the 4000.

So have you given up on MPCs altogether after your brief struggles with the 2500 and 4000?

i dont know the first thing to do with all those plugs, but i'll ask around and see if theres other options or how to exactly use that, cause that link is not showing me exactly how and why im purchasing that and how i will get my sounds from my mp to my comp, like do i actually need all those plugs? or just one and it comes in a package?

This is the same concept but different tools. I transfered my stuff using a usb hard drive enclosure...simple and effective.

You shouldnt have to buy anything, i've never had any problems moving sounds back and forth, well not until i got windows 7 64bit, and now i have to us an usb memory stick.. But yeah, you should be able to select more than on sound at a time.

Plenty of places to purchase from...

http://www.newegg.com
http://www.tigerdirect.com
http://www.outletpc.com
http://www.microcenter.com
http://www.pcsurplusonline.com

just to name a few.

I take it you do know what to do with a hard drive enclosure right?

Manny, you're making this seem harder than it is. Loosen up and keep an open mind with this thing and you'll catch on to what's going on.
