So I just upgraded the SHIT out of my 3000....

I just got done installing the new pads with pad corx from MPCStuff. I just soldered in all new tact switches from Mouser and my buttons are so easy to press now.. No more mashing buttons just to navigate.. the new pads, corx, and tact switches, really make my MPC feel BRAND NEW!!!

I also installed an internal Zip100 drive so I dont have to deal with those external drives dying on me anymore!! I got the kit from JD over at SCSIforsamplers.com - it really made installing the zip drive such a BREEZE, and I can still use the SCSI port on the rear of my MPC if I ever need to hook up an external sometime. The install kit only cost $50. Its so much better than sending it over to Forat and paying $300 just for an internal zip drive. I can also upgrade to a card reader at any time I want to and all I need to do is just plug it in!! JD is an awesome dude! Definitely a great experience!! If you're looking to upgrade your storage on ANY machine definitely go talk to JD!!

Just waiting for Vailixi to come in the mail and that will be going in sometime within the next week!!!

I love how I can actually do all the work myself and save myself HUNDREDS of dollars!!
