Peace. i was hopin yall JJ OS owners can clarify a few things for me. I checked the jjos comparison chart and peeped videos on the JJ OS but JJ really doesnt do a whole lot of talking. What do the following features do?

1) Simult PAD (SIMULT1/SIMULT2)

2) Extra Audio Play (Audio Time Stretch & Pitch Shift) - Does this mean stretching in real time while a seuqance is playing??

3) Improved mode (Input Thru)

Which os allows you to shifts or nudge notes left or right in grid edit mode? i saw it in a video but i couldnt find it again.

With the Grid Editor in the JJ OS can you step edit midi channel or the midi out?
Like if i want to step edit using the drums that are in ultra beat instead of ones loaded in the mpc in ram

in OS2 can you apply quantize and strength in real time or is that only in OS2xl?

Peace and thanks for clarifyin

Hi,

1) When OS2XL with its new MIDI implementation was released SIMULT was kind of crippled, that is to say you had to record first to hear it simulted during the next playback after you stopped the sequence (= SIMULT 1)
SIMULT2 is like the old SIMULT in previous JJ OS. To sum up the main idea it's a question of recorded MIDI notes.

2) Extra audio play is a useless feature

= only one sample, one track, no record...etc

means that you can set a pad to be triggered at the same time when another pad is hit....
