Is it possible to loop say bar 3 & 4 of an 8 bar sequence constantly?

I've googled and googled, but can't find anything about it.

Also thank you, and hello to everyone I recently picked up an mpc1000, and im loving it.

you can loop a single bar repeatedly (and edit it on the fly) using Loop Edit mode, but you can't do that for two bars

in OS2 you can set LOOP to ON so and control which bars are looped: http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2/loop.htm

I don't know OS2XL but it looks like the LOOP feature will only play from the first bar to some chosen bar, or from a chosen bar to the end, so you couldn't loop just 3 and 4 out of 8 (can any XL users confirm that?) http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/loop.htm

In the F1 tab you set the starting bar and the number of bars it will LOOP.
( in your case it would be 3-2 in the F1 key)

Indeed. Very easily done on JJOS2XL.
On OS2 you can do it quickly by first going into Grid Edit and then changing the loop parameters at the top right of the page.
