Hi!
First of all, sorry for my english, i hope i will be understandable.
Actually, i've got a MPC 2000 XL with a M-AUDIO fast track pro soundcard, and Pro Tools LE on MAC.
I used to record my beats on my computer with 1 stereo out plugged in my Fast Track Pro, so i only had one track on Pro Tools.
Now, i want to get a better sound quality when i record my MPC into Pro Tools, and all the track recorded in my MPC to be separated on Pro Tools (kicks, snares, hat, sample, bass...) to work on cuts, to add effects on my drums etc...
To sum up, i want my beats to be recorded with a high sound quality on my computer, and after mixing, record emcees on it in a studio.
To do that, i added 8 separated out on my MPC 200 xl, but i don't know which SOUNDCARD i should buy.
I have 200-400 Euros to buy it, someone advised me the MOTU 2408 Mk2.
Can you advise me to buy the best soundcard for my usage.
Thanks!
