dude prolly got a portable tape deck connected to the line out of a 10 year old desktop....

A bunch of joints I submitted on previous mixtapes use reson samples triggered by the 1k. He clearly doesnt know what he's talking about. I got some rock solid refills that hit hard as ph*ck. But poor engineering/production is never the cuplrit...everyone blames the software/hardware. All too common.

are you asking me to back up that my abbey road samples are better thn my triton? that ish was hyper sampled w/ vintage mics in the roads studio, the triton is just a sound engine not true samples.???

Personally, software has never worked as well for me as hardware. Of course, that is a statement based purely on personal experience.

yes, I have been a Reason user since version 2 and I am still on 4 right now. I do like many things about it, but I do agree that it isn't does lack a touch of natural sparkle until you eq the hell out of what you are running out of it.

I know I will get 5 because I like the look of a few things, especially the sampling side of matters.

Still, I rewire to Cubase, so I already have the best of both worlds, as far as I look at it.

Mind you, I have just built a new DAw Pc and seem to be getting a few odd anamolies with the midi ? After Cubase has been in use for a while, the midi data I record in has drifted all over the place and hasn't even recorded in the same way I've played it in ( no quantising is used in general ). Done some checks, but this is odd ... My two sound cards are set up and configured in the usual way ( Have an EMU 1820 and an RME, with a redundant 2496 sitting in the unit also ) . I am generally pretty much software savvy, but this really has me stumped at the moment ??

' I got some rock solid refills that hit hard as ph*ck '

Which refill packs are you using, Pounda ?
