If we're talking about finished beats, maybe one, maximum two per week. Sometimes i won't finish a single beat for two or three weeks.
I like to work on different beats at the same time however. So what i do is something i'd call making draft beats. I'll sample a record, chop it up, trim the samples, make a program with just those samples (no drums loaded at this point) and save it. This way, when i feel like making a beat i always have a few projects ready on the mpc. I've made about 5-6 of these in a day once. More would be possible, but i think i'd get lost in too many beats at the same time.
