Syncing MPC2000XL, Motif, Triton and then Pro Tools

I have my MPC controlling my Motif (MPC Out A to Motif IN/Motif Out to MPC IN A) and a Triton (MPC Out B to Triton IN/Triton Out to MPC IN B). This works fine while making beats.

Now I have a Pro Tools system that I need to sync with the MPC and the rest of the gear. I have a Uno USB Midi adapter for the Pro Tools rig. The problem is that I am out of Midi slots on the MPC (because of the Motif & Triton connections). Is there a 3rd party midi box that will give me more inputs? Or is there a way to rearrange my setup to allow me to plug the Pro Tools into the MPC?

you aint recording midi, just audio. let the mpc play, and pro tools tell the mpc when to play, just match the bpms (set PT to the MPCs bpm).

Ya I understand that. My problem is that my MPC has no more midi inputs because they are being used up by the Motif and Triton.

I was wondering if there was a seperate midi box that I could buy that would give me more midi inputs, or if there was a way to re-arrange my setup to free up the midi in/outs for my Pro Tools rig.

I think I can use the midi thru off one of the keyboards, I will try it when I get to the studio tomorrow.

I don't record midi into Pro Tools, I just want to use Pro Tools to start my MPC so everything is in sync in the Pro Tools grid.

Well, there are midi patchbays.

Yo try it simmply as... MPC out-Motif in/ MPC in-Motif out then Motif THRU Triton in... That simply save ur MPC inB for P-T!!!

Thanks! I'll give that a shot. I picked up some 20ft. midi cables because my production gear is across the room from the Pro Tools rig. You think I will have a big problem with latency?
