Removing or adding regions without resetting start/end point

Well, Ak.sys makes this all happen and it's a feature/tool offered to help speed up your workflow.

But that's understandable that you'd prefer going the manual route.

One last try and then i'll stop asking

Does someone know how to combine/split regions in the sample [edit] menu?
I think when no one responds i can forget about it. It doesn't matter really but it would be nice if possible.
