MPC 2000XL Question - Sequencing a Basic 2 Bar Loop

I still don't get it....what's bigger in the beginning than in the end?

Im basically sayin the wave pattern of the recording. If the sample is louder at the beginning and quieter when it ends so when it loops from a low wave pattern to a higher one.

Of course you will hear that when it loops, but it has nothing to do with the timing of the loop.

Once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature to find and use zero cross points
and you'll not hear pops and clicks ever again.

I **** u not, once I learned what it was and how to do it, I've NOT had a pop click issue since.
Not only for loops, can be used at the beginning and end of samples as well.

Lampdog, Thanks a million for this. I can chop a sample pretty ok but every now & then i run into a pop, click or hiss. but im about to study this, i just skimmed across it and it brought a smile to face (yea im a tech geek).

Lampdog, just one question....

What program do you use to edit your waveforms if you dont mind me asking, and i ask this due to the fact that I use adobe soundbooth and sometimes zooming in looses any real refrence point you see when zoomed out (if that makes sense) so im just trying to figure what may be a good program to use for waveform editing.
