JJ OS and Akai compatability question

Does anyone know if I am using the OS XL on the MPC 2500 to create songs whether will the 16 levels tuning from the OS XL will transfer to the Akai OS on my MPC 500? I want to create on the 2500 with JJ and then perform using the MPC 500, but I don't want to have to go and rework all the 16 levels tracks.

I already have noticed the 16 levels info doesn't transfer from the JJ OS1 to OS XL.

MPC 500 and I believe JJOS 1 is where the compatibility ended.

I've done some tests and also emailed JJ and your right. The 16 levels information from the 500 Akai OS works with OS2 but it is altered because of the introduction of ADSR apparently.

I'll use OS1 for the work I want to transfer to the 500 and XL or OS2 for the rest.
