can i save a recording from a mpc 1000 to a file on pc so i can share it or do i need a audio interface and daw program like reaper? i just have fl studio 9? please any help would be appreciated just wana b able to keep my stuff on the computer after ive made it. hmmm noone seems to know?

i work a bastard of a job atm n had some family illness we had to deal with lifes been complicated n just been getting time again to start enjoying this great bit of gear. problem is i record a song assign it to a pad hit the pad nothging plays?

okay for the time being...

get yourself an rca to 1/8th inch adapter

also get yourself two of these

basically you need to get your left and right 1/4" mono cables turned into a single 1/8" stereo headphone jack. Those two things can be found at radio shack for about 10 bucks in total.


now the 1/4" ends go into your mpc master output... the headphone looking jack goes in to the back of your computer. Most likely the red or blue input hole.... (the line in is what you need)


now you have what you need.



you can download audacity for free off the official website (google it) it is a basic recording program that works well.

yeah or if you can, get a 1/8" stereo to 1/4" mono adapter set...



you plug it into the line in... or mic in.... basically not the headphone/speaker output....
