Biggest problem/pet peeve about your MPC?

i have a 1000 and i really don't have any problems - occasionally i will hit undo seq too much during a sequence and it will erase the entire sequence but that's really not a big deal - never had it "crash" or "freeze" on me after finishing a beat etc. - i mean sometimes ive been makin a beat and i do somethin stupid and the power cord comes out but thats my own fault lol

somethin about the 3000 makes me want to try it - but i'll wait til i fully understand the 1000 or at least understand it enough before i start switching gear again - i've had my mpc for 4 years now and im really just starting to take advantage of it and figure my style out better.

My problem is keeping mine on the straight and narrow.

it neva came with jjos 2 as standard if i shell out 400 i hould not need to go buy a decent os and some new pads

My biggest problem with the 1k is all these phuckin tact switches that keep failing

That i since windows 7 64bit am being forced to use a usb memory stick to transfer sounds, kills the work flow completely.

my new computer came with 64 bit, but luckily for me, my older computer came with 32 bit, so i just installed 32 bit. took maybe 30 mins-1hr to install, and i havent had a problem yet. (about a yr 1/2 ago)

my advice is to find a friend who has 32 bit and ask if you can borrow their installation disc

I cant get the sounds to cut themselves off

my bottom cursor buttons sticks every once and while...i gotta press it reallly hard for it to go down.....(thats what she said)

internal fx range from decently useful to hideously useless.

My unresponsive pads on the 1000. I have about 4 good pads left. Too cheap to shell out $200 bucks on a new pad set but its ok now i trigger my sample through a midi keyboard.

same here i use not repeat and undo seq way too much cuz of the pads

My Lord, THIS!!! I have the samples chopped so perfect in Cool Edit then move to memstick to have them ever so slightly OFF when you move to the MPC!

No updated JJos on the 4k...

Metronome is slightly different from other MPCs make my timing sound off. (Whiiiiine)

P.S. No Larger VGA out.

+1 for failing tac switches on the 1000.

even the 1K used to sell for close to a G
