Soldering a Backlight on the MPC3000?

There is an adhesive on the back of the backlight that makes it difficult to slide out. You have to pry it out a little bit to help remove it. Do not take apart the LCD as you may damage it permanently.

Hey I installed my new backlight yesterday and it seems to be working just fine I got the el-foil backlight from MPC-STUFF came in the mail in about 2 days! Very much worth it, but just to be on the safe side don't damage or destroy your classic machine to replace the backlight, if your not confident have it serviced!
