so maybe you just introduced yourself in the wrong way - just start over, try to be respectful and show some effort to find the info you need and then come back to ask any question you need more help on. there is plenty of written knowledge here and tons of free youtube videos that show you almost any aspect of the mpc.
if you want to save time then maybe some investment in condensed knowledge is actually good - if you want to save money you have to invest your time to find some of it on your own. since there is no free lunch probably the most video tutorials that go into depth will cost you some money if you want them in one piece - but if you look around you will find almost everything in little pieces for free.
you said you have a background in studio education - why not just try your mpc with what you know about recording and sequencing and then ask specific questions when you get stuck - you´ll be surprised how easy the basic functions are to discover. when the time has come and you want to learn some advanced tricks just come back, use the search function to find if somebody has already answered your question - and if not, then feel free to ask.
you see - if i just would hate on you i would probably not spend the time to answer anymore.
so have fun with your mpc and welcome to the forums.
peace, jo
