HAD IT with Akai -- ditching the 5k before I hurt someone.

If nothing else, I'm glad to see others coming forward with this error. I have used the HD, the CF, and PC backups. When I load any of them after they've been affected, they exhibit this error. I again did a reinstall/reset and loaded up an affected song; the damn note durations were back. ...well, most of them. I use the gear for less than 3 hours a day...so I don't think a dozing period is what it needs. This is definitely a fundamental OS error, in my humble opinion.
