are c.d. mixers great for sampling off of c.d.'s? if so , what are some good ones that wont kill me in the pockets. or can i go another route instead?

You can sample off of basically anything that's capable of hooking up to your sampler.

Mini mp3 player for example...1/8th in male connector to male rca cable w/ 1/4 in. mono male jack adapters.

You can find these parts at radio shack.

if you have a 1000, 2500 or any other model with USB, then you can rip the cd on your computer and drag and drop wav file to your mpc.

been doin this a lot lately-i bought a 80 cd lot of jazz promo cd's 2 years ago and was like im not doin shit with these and actually found some dope shit on em lol
