Volume knob replacement on a 2000 classic

Easy? Hard? Obviously it needs to be soldered, I haven't even opened her up yet. I've lost my right channel and I think this is the reason, it used to cut in and out and the knob was loose, I think the solder point finally broke?? Any experience with this repair?

If it's just the volume pot replacement then it should be an easy fix or it may just require a re-solder if you're lucky.

If the pcb board on which the vol. pot is mounted has been damaged then you'll have to solder direct to the wires bypassing the board (that's fairly tricky and time consuming).

Hopefully it will be the easy fix.
