how to make sample stop playing when i leave pad

Hi i wantedy to know if there is a way to make the pad stop playing the sound right when i stop pressing it (i know how to make it stop when i press difrent pad) for example i have a crash that is to long for what i need, and in trim mode when i press the pad it plays only for the duration that i hold the pad, and i want it to be like that in main mode.

This didn't do the trick for me actually

note on did?

Well MPC 5000 dont have note on in program mode (i didnt find it) and im on immediate in mute stop one shot
still playes all the sample even after i leave the pad
another bug?

ok you need to go to program mode be with the cursor on the sample name then press window button on layer switch with data wheel from one shot to note on
