I HATE IT WHEN I Swing my fellas some classic, good sample shit....and they are like, i want it to sound like this: all that midwest fast hihat shit! and they pass those beats up! haha

nothing wrong with it, i luv it too, but kids now a days are skipping past the classics and straight to the new shit. People ride a dick and think they have to stay on top of whats hot, but dont realize that you gotta put out good shit, and thats how you stay on top....not that any of its bad (dont want to start an argument) but all they doing is riding a dick. especially when they think they can rhyme like twista

I guess it's like MC's...some people are into lyricists...and some people are really just listening to the music and could care less what the MC is saying.

Besides, Manny Fresh's music should be called south-hop or something...certainly not hip hop.

And as for Kanye West...well...what can I say? Hip Hop can only be dumbed-down so far...and he's on the cutting edge of the down swing.
