T.C. Swing 50% --- Help !

I just got my MPC1000 and I'm trying to quantize parts of my beats but when I use T.C. the lowest option is 50% swing. Is there a way to bring that 50% down to 0%??? I don't need a swing effect on my beats. Let me know if this problem has already been posted.

50% equals NO SWING

anything less than 50% pushes the swing to be early, greater than 50% makes it late. hence 50% swing = no change made

if your setting is already at 50 and when you quantize its not lining up then you are playing waaay off beat or you have the quantize set to 1/32 or triplets.

i am also a newbie and having problems with beat syncin... what should the T.C value be set at to make the beats flow perfectly cause everytime i play them and try to play back they are all off??????

Go take drum lessons. Learn how to count to 4, and it will help you tremendously with your timing.
