Radio Frequency in my MPC making Radio Hiss and Hum.

ok im rewiring my room. got the (broken with only outs working) Mbox 2 connected to the mixer. Mixer Hooked up to DJ mixer DJ mixer hooked up 2 MK 2. THen when i get the other channel for the DJ mixer to go into the MPC 2000xl (wich is a bit rusted) I get All these radio stations in my ears. I tryed a Ground loop Isolator but it just makes the radio LOUder.
i been going crazy for bout 3 hours trying to figure out how to solve this but i have no idea. Everything leading up to the MPC just gets an almost unnoticeable hiss i got rid of the buzz by connecting everything with ground plugs. but when those cables go into that MP BUZZ goes ham. Hiss Goes ham. and i start hearing about this dam mosque gayday parade burning crap. lol

I'd first suspect you must have an unshielded cable going to your mpc. With no shielding, these cables can act as an antenna and be pretty problematic.

^ you are right. I read up all over the internet for prob 5 hours. and a few people say when this happens its a shielding issue. ALTHOUGH i tryed many different cords same result.
some say its due to a lack of clean power. so i should get a power conditioner. but these are all responses for an Guitar amps.
i want to know what yall MPC experts have.

well it's probably a case of all your cables being unshielded. Now, i've always been thrown off when it comes to grounding issues and such, mostly because i've yet to run into your situation, i'm sure the time will come. but..... there's lots of other issues that can cause mayhem. Like having your set up powered by two or more ac boxes can cause a grounding issue. You might want to do some reading or speak with someone who's familiar with elecricty... but i'd prolly just go buy a shielded cable.

Could be a ground loop issue. In which case you would need to place a ground loop isolator somewhere in your signal chain.

One thing that I did that eliminated the ground loop is I made sure that *ALL* my outlets were plugged into the same source. Pick one wall outlet and run everything from there. I have two power bars coming out from each socket which gives me 10 entries. I needed more so I plugged other power bars into these power bars. I know it sure sounds like a no-no but I spoke to an audio engineer and he told me that this type of equipment (computer, MPC, synths, etc.) is not very demanding in terms of power so there is no worry of frying anything. I certainly would not do it with a microwave, blender or something of that nature.

Anyways this worked for me, it was an inexpensive solution, for what it's worth.
