where can i find some deep strong 808's and kicks. all the kits i have, have weak 808's and kicks i need something that sounds full.

Buy a kit.. or make your own.. you could just sample a kick or hit. Eq it, compress it, layer it,...

totally. if you get to the point where you can start using EQ and compression to fatten up a drum, you will spend less time saying, "this is just not good enough" and more time thinking to yourself, "okay, this will work just fine" and tweak it out.

just find a cd/record with the sounds you want and sample it. This is the BEST way to learn how to chop, how to listen for clean sounds, and how to edit samples to clean them up. We all went through the phase of not being able to chop, or once you chop, not being able to get the drums to play right, or you finally get the drums to play right but you finally notice some annoying sound playing in the background. Trust me, this is the sampling initiation steps you HAVE to go through! You can skip steps (by using kits or presets) but your overall sound will be like 90% of every other producer out there.
