Resampling the drums and wtf is this?

Alright, I don't think it's normal for the MPC 2kxl to assign arbitrary names to a new sample is it? Usually it's just a default name like "sound2".

But upon resampling a phrase to 8 bit I found that the arbitrary name assigned to the sample was some weird stuff like "BDEGILMOQSUWY-(". Anyone know what the hell is going on ? Sounds like the OS may be bugged.

All joking aside, as long as the sample plays and is cut the way you want it then just rename it on your computer. nothing major
