Oooh yeah, I love accidents.
I do whatever is called for. Sometimes I'll loop and it can be dope. Sometimes the loop sounds so good, that when you lace some drums on it, it sounds off and horrible so I chop it up and make it fit by all means possible. Sometimes I chop everything and blend it all together to make a collage of funky mud.
Most cases though, I dig for the dope and obscure loop. Thats the first step for me, everything else is Plan B.
