i want to use a program with my mpc-1000 i heard abelton works well with the mpc but i would like to hear some opinions abelton,reason or fl studio for sounds and recording

you can use your mp to control vsti's in your DAW or Reason just like you would any other rack sound module/keyboard via the MIDI outs. thats pretty much it. as far as the two going hand in hand thats not really how these things work. most people just use DAWs to dump their beat down on..
