probably a common problem, probably posted about all the time, occasionally i have pads randomly are triggering neighboring pads

do i just need this to fix it?

I'm also getting mad stuff like random crashes, samples disappearing from the trim menu but still in the program and various other weird stuff, is this just a case of akai os?

Try to restore default settings or (better solution) try the free JJ os.

Happened to me a couple of times. I'd shut the machine off and right back on and it would be stuborn about it. Turn it off for the day and it has always went back to normal for me. Very frustrating though.

yup, same here. very sporadic though. I thought it normally occured when I'd bang on pads for a few days, eventually it seemed like the pads got shifted just a lil bit so i'd push up on them and it seemed to work. Now tho, nothing seems to work unless i just let it sit.

It is only on occasion that it happens, but it is frustrating.

Im thinking of upgrading pads/sensors and wondering if any of you know if it will work. peace.
