Sup all,did the search, the google and no luck...I got a couple of sample cd's with 1000 or so sounds on each, problem is they'r are divided by 85 groups,so when I transfer them to my mpc1k(jjos4.99)using cyberlink power to go,they play fine on the mpc, problem is that it plays by groups not by single hits or loops(each group consists of 10 or so hits)so it plays on after another one.Tryed mpcmaid but it wont let me drag the samples so i can chop'em,tells me they need to be shorter then 4 bars.
So pls ,can anybody tell me how to properly get all the single hits into the mpc????
THX!!

if you can't chop them in mpcmaid and can't chop them in the MPC (did you try that?) you could load each file in a sound editor such as Audacity and chop them up into separate files there, then put the individual files on your mpc

THX partner, actually, I allready started to chop in the MPC,was just hoping for a quicker way,(1000 samples)but is worth it, it's a pretty rare sample cd 8)

Audacity will let you select regions of the file and export each one to a new file. I imagine other sound editors have similar features. But it's not so hard to do it in the mpc either.

just grab a few samples at a time that you like from the cd, chop and and make a beat. repeat as you like. rather than just chop chop and chop your way through the cd.
