hey all, i got my MPC1k (new) just a week ago, it takes too much time when chopping samples. is this normal? (16Mb ram).

i mean after loading the sample and hit "slice" it takes at least 20 to 30 seconds before laying out the pattern, takes even more if the sample is bigger (lik a minute or two)
