Alright well I seem to be getting the hang of my mp pretty well so far I think, but yet I'm forced to ask another stupid question, so here it is:

I want to access some samples on my flash card - I hit mode, pad 2, find the sample folders in the directory, but can't figure out how to open the folders to get at the individual samples within the folders

No one huh ? Well I'm just not sure if I'm missing something, or the previous owner didn't format the samples right, and now the folders won't open or what. Either way I'm deleting them, and replacing with my own.....

When you are in the load screen and see the folders, use your cursor (arrow keys/buttons) to highlight the folder. Once highlighted, press the right arrow key/button to enter/access a folder or subfolder.

Read the Fookin Manual!!!

you have an mpc1000, right? page 89

04. Move through the directory using the left/right cursor keys.

you keep posting very basic questions, which is fine, everyone has to start somewhere, but why should anyone bother taking time to write an answer for you when you keep proving you won't read the manual? why should we believe you'll bother to read our answers either?

make some effort

Man relax, I've been reading the manual and will continue to do so. I haven't asked to many basic questions to have you jumping all over me. Once I get my own sounds in this bad boy, and know how to access them, you can est assured I won't need much guidance, after it's set up.
