Ive searched the manual and this forum but i can't seem to find mention of this.

Changing the Note repeat value changes the Timing Correct Value.

Is there a way to turn this link off?

Ok, so if the timing correct isn't on then what rate would the note repeat repeat?

What you seem to be missing is that TC values can be changed in real time.
So you turn it on do the note repeat then turn it off without ever having to stop the sequencer.
It the same thing that allows you to Quantize the kick, snare, hihat all with different setting without stopping the sequencer.

You will eventually will understand why you would want to be able to change the note repeat value in realtime or have it tied to the sequencers TC settings and enjoy the benefits.

I understand the benefit of being able to change it real time. What would be the harm in having separate values? So my TC stays at 32nd notes while i make HH variations of all different sorts. They could both even change while the sequencer is running. Im mostly say this because i will have used the note repeat then moved on and recorded a different track and then it plays it back with 1/4 note quant. So re record the part and i get upset and hit my wife.

Hopefully your on the newest OS. If you record a track or instrument with a certain

quantize value you can record another one without it effecting the previous track or

instrument. Quantize while your recording, maybe your recording than quantizing the whole

track? If you do it that way you will be quantizing everything on that track. Maybe if you

explained a little differently what your trying to accomplish we would understand better.

Still much to be learned about operating a MP to get a groove.
Why would you even want the quant to stay at 1/32 or what ever for different tracks?
Even worse who use note repeat for hats? It gives you lifeless hats.
